XTREME-911 Privacy Policy
GENERAL PRIVACY AND COOKIE STATEMENT

This web site does not collect data for any reason other than the basic web server logging that is standard in this industry. We record the date and time of your visit, your Internet Protocol Address, your computer's Operating System, your web browser software type and version, the URL's of any web pages you tried to access along with the corresponding query string data that was appended to the URL, and the URL of the website that sent you to our web page.

This web server log data is not used for any purposes except as a security audit. This web server log would only be given to agencies such as Interpol in case of external attempts to breach server security. These security agencies would then only be allowed to use these logs to aid in the apprehension of the criminal elements responsible for such attempts to breach our website's security systems.

Additionally, all of our servers operate packet filtering firewall, intrusion detection and email server antivirus applications that log external security attacks. These firewall, IDS and AV logs would only be given to agencies such as Interpol in case of external attempts to breach server security. These security agencies would then only be allowed to use these logs to aid in the apprehension of the criminal elements responsible for such attempts to breach our website's security systems.

Cookies are used only as authentication devices that are placed on your web browser's disk and/or cache memory area to allow our servers to verify that you are the correct person who logged in originally during a web browsing session conducted between your web browser and our web site.

This web site will never, and has never used cookies as a marketing tool by storing your personal information in cookies. This company is adamant in its policy to stop the global retention of private data for marketing purposes, so we never store cookies for any reason whatsoever of even a users Login ID number. Security reasons require us to not store any personal data. Normally we never even store a password cookie on your PC. XTREME-911 only stores one single cookie containing your login authorization password only if you login to the secure area of the website. We only store that one cookie on your PC and that is your one authentication encrypted password as you can easily examine the cookie to verify no personal information is collected by our server cookies for yourself. Only users who wish to login to this website are issued this one login authentication cookie.

XTREME-911's web server actually does store one other cookie. The Tomcat Web Servers transmit one Tomcat Session Cookie that the Tomcat Servers send to all web browsers on every web site that uses Tomcat Servers. The Tomcat Session Cookie only stores one encrypted UUID-like session Identification Number that the Tomcat Web Server uses to allocate one web session per web browser and to differentiate each individual web browser that it is serving web pages to. This is the default behavior of a Tomcat Web Server, and we have elected at this time to continue to use the default Tomcat Cookie setting. NOTE: The Tomcat Session Cookie is not in any way related to a user's information storage or retrieval of personal data in cookies, so it is a perfectly harmless mechanism used by many web server systems under normal operation.
